context.
Tequila Ocho is no ordinary tequila: it’s a single estate, family-crafted spirit made “by hand and heart,” rooted deeply in the land of Mexico. Over the years, RED VELVET has been a trusted partner in shaping how Ocho engages with audiences, first through a shared traveling booth with their sister brand Vago Mezcal. This booth brought Ocho’s story to life across food & wine festivals and trade shows nationwide.
But in 2025, Ocho stepped into a new era. With refreshed bottle design and a major spotlight moment as the presenting sponsor at the North America’s 50 Best Restaurants event in Las Vegas, Ocho needed a presence that could hold its own in front of the world’s most discerning culinary voices. The challenge? Show up with sophistication, authenticity, and unmistakable Ocho spirit.
the ask.
Ocho came to RED VELVET with a tall order: create a booth design that is as adaptable as it is iconic. They need a modular build that can flex from an expansive 16-foot footprint for a full takeover to a scaled-down 12- or 8-foot version for smaller events. The design needed to balance polish and brand personality, making a splash in luxury environments while staying true to Ocho’s Mexican roots and ethos.
the process.
solution.
RED VELVET designed a dynamic, modular booth system that embodied Tequila Ocho’s textures, traditions, and storytelling. Inspired by the land where Ocho is born, the build featured Mexican stucco walls, hammered glass nodding to the bottle’s design, green tile accents, and agave plants as natural decor. Brand symbols - the hand and the heart - were integrated as wooden icons.
The design was equal parts functional and evocative: dramatic lighting to showcase the bottles, smart storage solutions for seamless operations, and a “back bar” space to host private tastings. Even in its smallest configuration, Ocho’s presence shined, with slim brand arches transforming into a bottle display. The result was a traveling brand home that felt as authentic in Las Vegas as it did on the road, a space that invited guests to connect with Ocho as “a spirit of the earth, for the earth.”
