What’s your avatar look like?
FFWD was a one-night event during SXSW for XPRIZE and ANA to formally launch a four-year global competition focused on the development of an avatar system that will transport a human’s senses, actions, and presence to a remote location in real time, leading to a more connected world. The winning prize: $10 million.
In two days, we completely transformed a three-story historic venue into a futuristic experience. Nearly 200 pieces of furniture were removed and replaced, custom branding was installed on tens of thousands of square feet of the venue, personalized holograms were created for attendees, and nitrogen treats were served by costumed staff.
