two-stop, two-step.

Favor launched a “two stop” feature allowing users to order from multiple destinations in a single delivery. They partnered with H-E-B and commissioned a custom mural around a play on words: “Two-Step, Two Stop.” RED VELVET brought the event to life with two-step dance instructors, live music, and BBQ!

context.

Favor wanted to create a memorable launch moment that would launch its new two-stop feature feel tangible and very Texan. The challenge was transforming a digital product update into an in-person experience that connected with the community, encouraged further brand awareness, and celebrated the partnership between Favor and H-E-B in an authentic way.

RED VELVET helped Favor turn a product feature launch into a cultural moment rooted in what makes Austin unique. By blending local traditions (like BBQ and two-steppin’) and seamless execution, the event brought the “Two-Step, Two Stop” story to life, creating a memorable community celebration that was much more than an average grocery shopping experience, while driving awareness, engagement, and measurable app adoption.

the ask.

RED VELVET transformed the “Two-Step, Two Stop” concept into a full-scale brand experience, bringing together local culture and hospitality. From sourcing live entertainment and two-step instructors to managing vendors, logistics, permitting, and onsite production, we created an activation that invited guests to experience the feature in a uniquely Austin way. RED VELVET helped manage content capture of the event to extend the story beyond launch day and turn into social assets.

solution.

The celebration drew strong community engagement, with a 30+ person line forming at opening and steady participation throughout the event. Guests filled the dance floor, enjoyed local food and entertainment, and engaged with Favor’s new feature through trial offers and hands-on discovery. The activation also generated organic amplification through local media and influencers, extending the reach of the launch beyond the event itself.
